I am pleased to announce that I have just uploaded the latest version (1.41)
of SigmaMD5 to hobbes. It is currently in the directory \pub\incoming but
will be moved in the next few days most probably to \pub\os2\util\misc. The
filename is SigmaMD5v1.41.zip
SigmaMD5 Reads & Creates MD5 checksum files. Is compatable with the output
of Linux GNU MD5SUM and can check the eCs CD's for correct data using the
MD5 checksum list files on the CD's. Provides a clear visual indication of
checksum status (error's etc.) as well as error sorting, file filtering and
comprehensive logging facilities.
This version has a number of enhancements:
Progress window to show progress when loading MD5 List file > 20KB and when
saving a MD5 List file containing more than 10,000 records.
Support for Chinese (Taiwanese) and French Language.
Version Level checking of Language DLL's.
In the Drive Not Ready dialogue and the Create MD5 File Dialogue, the
label of each drive is now shown.
and bug fixes :
Popup menu did not show all options correctly
When checking a drive's ready status, if a retry was given and the drive
was changed without pressing the change
button, the drive is displayed as the new one but the retry was done on the
original drive.
If a MD5 List file contained exactly 32 characters the program closed all
windows but was still running and could not be closed.
When using this version please note that it is not compatible with earlier
language DLL's, so please either move or delete them to avoid any
compatibility problems.
DON'T FORGET TO SAVE YOUR "SIGMAMD5.INI FILE AS OTHERWISE YOU WILL NEED TO
RE-ENTER YOUR REGISTRATION INFO.
The future plans are to add the Spanish language and to increase the maximum
number of records that can be handled.
If YOUR language is missing and you are willing to do some translation work
then I will be only to pleased to incorporate your language in a future
release.
