I have uploaded the following to SimTel,

SimTel/os2/security
wpsec201.zip Provides object level security for OS/2 Warp.

Workplace Security for OS/2 Warp provides seamless
object level security for the Workplace Shell. Workplace Security
was developed using System Object Model (SOM) technology.

Workplace Security provides password controlled access to protect
your desktop objects from unauthorized access, tampering or accidental
shredding. Workplace Security prevents "Locked" objects from being
opened or having their settings changed without entering the correct
password. It prevents "Locked" objects from being deleted, renamed,
moved, copied, dragged, or from recieving dropped objects.

After installing Workplace Security a new "Password" page is
seamlessly added to the settings notebook for every "folder" and
"program" type object on your desktop, including the desktop
settings notebook.

lwpftp11.zip OS/2 WPS-Integrated Folder-Oriented Ftp Client

LWPFTP is a fully WPS-integrated, approach to FTP client applications.
Simply configure an Ftp Folder to point to an FTP site, open it up, and
you're on your way! Files and sub-folders will be created automatically
based on the directory listing from the remote site. To get a file onto
your machine, simply select Transfer from its popup menu or simply
double-click it.

LWPFTP implements a folder subclass (called LWPFtpFold) that allows
specification of an FTP site, access information, and path. When the
new folder is opened, a remote directory listing is obtained and additional
objects are created in the Folder. These objects will be either more
FtpFolders or FtpFiles.

An FtpFile is a datafile subclass (called LWPFtpFile) which also has
the FTP information in its settings as well as a Transfer popup menu
option. After a file is transferred, it will convert to a more appropriate
datafile object (including the visible icon). At that point, the file is
locally available on your machine and, if the file contained only text, it
will be opened according to the WPS file associations.
