Trials showed slow loading of large Gedcom files (and yes I had tested
some large files - just goes to show the difficulty of covering all
eventualities). A refresh of the beta is now available. This refresh
speeds things up considerably, although there will stilll be a practical
limit on the size of file any particular machine can handle. On a
low-end Thinkpad 600 with 128M, this limit is around 2 megabytes.
