The presence of a new Internet virus targeting online
banking customers is a good reminder for our customers who use the Internet
to keep your anti-virus and anti-spyware updated and active.</font></p>

latest virus, Trojan.Banker, is spread to unprotected PCs of customers
who respond to an infected e-mail or visit an infected Internet web site.
While we have no reason to believe that any Synovus banks or customers
have been impacted at this time, we want you to be informed.</font></p>

- Make sure you are running the latest versions of virus scanning software<br>
