Groupware in general and Lotus Notes in particular are very at the forefront
this year. A lot of companies start to discover that using a good groupware
infrastructure can help them improve internal and external communication. The
rising sales of Notes in the last six months are a witness to this trend. HUGO
wants to cover the trend and show its members the possibilities of using
groupware in the office.
HUGO is the user group of active OS/2 professionals in the Netherlands. The
society has four hundred members active in all branches of business who not
only use OS/2 to their advantage at work but are also OS/2 users at home.
Besides hosting user meetings six times a year, HUGO also publishes its own
magazine, the HugoNotes, six times a year. HUGO also holds an annual OS/2 show
in the first week of October.
Membership is open to anyone using OS/2 in Holland. Costs are DFL 60,- per
year. Interested parties can attend the evening and sign up as member
directly.
