Hi,

I have updated the OS/2 port of Jem Berke's email filtering tool
renattach to the latest released version (1.2.3). Source and executable
have been uploaded to hobbes and should show up as renattach-1.2.3.zip
in /pub/os2/apps/internet/mail/server.

What is renattach?

The name stems from re(name) attach(ments). It is a filter to
rename/remove unsolicited mail attachments such as executable files, MS
windows worms, screen savers, and what ever else you decide to
configure. It works even for dangerous attachments inside zip files if
so configured, and can even kill mails completely based on attachments
if need be. It works very well here in conjunction with procmail.

Happy Easter, and have fun! Stefan A. Deutscher
