NcFTP v2.3.0 Port to OS/2 Wide Beta is now available!

NcFTP v2.3.0 Port to OS/2 is now available as a public beta from
ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/ as ncftp2b6.zip.

NcFTP v2.3.0 is a user interface to the Internet standard File Transfer
Protocol. This program allows a user to transfer files to and from a remote
network site, and offers additional features that are not found in the
standard interface, FTP.

NcFTP v2.3.0 provides several enhancements over the standard FTP available
with IBM's TCP/IP and Warp's IAK. NcFTP offers several benefits and
enhancements, such as:
     o A progress indicator bar
o Re-get support - The ability to automatically restart an
aborted FTP transfer at the point where it left off.
o Colon-mode, which allows you to quickly pick up a single
file by typing a single command on the command line.
o Recursive gets; Now you can retrieve entire sub-directory
trees using the -r switch with the get command.
o Get `newer than X-files'; This retrieves files that are
          newer than X days.
o Get new files only; NcFTP now has the ability to skip files
that you already have, making it easy to mirror other sites,
or just pick up new files since your last FTP session.
     o Integrated hosts editor.
     o Integrated Preferences editor.
o User interface colors are completely configurable.
