Subject : NEW RELEASE : OS/2 Game Makman/2
MakMan/2 is an OS/2 version of the well known P*cMan game. The first public
beta version 0.80 (makman08.zip) can be now found on
ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu (currently in os2/incoming, proposed os2/games).
[Also on ftp://ftp.uni-heidelberg.de in /incoming]
MakMan/2 features:
- OS/2 PM and DIVE support
- original MMPM/2 sound
- Joystick support (requires IBM's Joystick driver)
- classic and enhanced 3D look in FULL COLOR!
- multithreaded architecture
- user customizable bitmaps and sounds
MakMak/2 requires:
- OS/2 Warp (2.xx untested)
- HPFS drive for install (the beta still uses long filenames)
- at least 800x600 screen resolution
- MMPM/2 for sound
- DIVE driver optional
- Joystick driver optional
The program is shareware and registration costs USD $10, including the final
version of the product.
