Southern California OS/2 User Group
General Meeting - Jan 20th

Unfortunately, we don't know the meeting topic yet. Suffice it to say
that the presentation will be worthwhile and enjoyable.

As usual, the meeting will start at 9 AM. We'll have a Q&A period
after the presentation, take a short break, and then the SIGs will
convene:

General Interest Group - will cover topics of interest to all OS/2
users.

Network - will begin exploring the ins and outs of a SOHO (Small
Office/Home Office) peer network. (See page 4 for a lot more topic
information!)

Programmers - will begin a series on the OS/2 Warp APIs with an
introduction and overview of the various OS components available to the
developer. Subsequent meetings will cover individual components in
detail. Time permitting, you'll also learn how to program dynamic
desktops.

And, just a reminder that the Internet SIG meets on Monday evening,
Jan. 22nd.

Getting there: Meetings are held in IBM's Costa Mesa offices, near
South Coast Plaza. From the 405 freeway, exit onto Bristol north bound.
Turn right on Anton Blvd. The IBM offices are in Plaza Tower at 600
Anton. Meetings are held on the second floor of this building. The
parking lot diagonally across the street is generally open and free of
charge during the weekends.
