IQPAC ANNOUNCES PERMANENT WEB SITE FOR EDM/2

January 1, 1995

IQPac Incorporated is pleased to make the following announcements:

IQPac Inc. now has a web site, located at http://www.iqpac.com which will
be the repository for various OS/2 development information, including
EDM/2 for which this will be the permanent home of the magazine. The
opening of this site represents a major step forward in providing to you,
the OS/2 developer, the best information anywhere on OS/2 application
development.

EDM/2 is pleased to announce the addition of two new columns.

In the first - "Rexx Inside and Out" - Joe Wyatt will show you IBM's REXX
language from the inside out. Come here to find out something new each month,
regardless of whether you are a seasoned veteran or a
sometimes-OS/2-programmer.

Brad Scharf will take you on a journey each month to the halls of OS/2
products which aid you in application development. In "Under the Scope", he
will look at commercial products, shareware, and freeware in order to find out
which "make the grade". Follow him to find out what's hot and what's not.

Finally, EDM/2 is pleased to announce the addition of a search engine to
the EDM/2 web site. Now, you can search for occurrences of any grep-
supported regular expression within the articles, columns, or announcements.
Your browser must support HTML forms to use this facility.

"I use [the EDM/2 web site] regularly to search for articles that I need to
reference," says Steven Gutz, President of Neologic, Inc. "It's a great
repository of OS/2 knowledge from some of the key people in the business."

Ed Boykin, a student at Georgia Tech., feels similarly. "The EDM/2 web page is
a terrific source of OS/2 programming information. The way all of the
articles and columns have been integrated into a concise and easy use format
allows me to quickly search through and find whatever information I need."
