OS/2 e-Zine! is now soliciting contributors for our third issue which
will be on the web Dec. 31/95. We need people to write articles and
reviews of shareware, commerical software, and books. The topics below
are what we are presently planning to feature. If you have better/other
suggestions drop me a note. Guidelines for articles can be had just by
asking.

As always, the current issue can be found at:

http://www.isisnet.com/haligonian/os2/

NOTE: The deadline for rough drafts is Dec. 15 due to the Christmas
interruption. Topics include:

If you are never going to contribute or for other reasons don't want to
receive messages like this, send me a note and I'll take you off the
list.

FEATURE REVIEW - WORD PROCESSORS:
StarWriter
DeScribe
(I've already more or less confirmed reviewers for Clearlook and Ami Pro).

Also needed are someone to write a side bar article (not necessarily a
full review) on:

Escriba - a small, shareware 32bit wysiwyg word processor.
HyperviewPM - a convenient way to view and search your word proc files.
EPM - a medium featured alternative to commercial word procs.

GAMES:
Microlearn Game Pack II
Toyland
Bummer
Other suggestions?

OTHER SHAREWARE/FREEWARE:
FTP-it!
Neologic FTP
VX-FTP
Lynn's WorkPlace FTP
Any competing PM ftp software that I'm missing?

THE RAVE:
This is a new section that I created because I had to praise filebar
v2.05. It will appear in every issue and is simply a forum for anyone
to rave about some new or old product (hardware or software or a book or
whatever) that they can't live without. If there is something OS/2
related that you think is the greatest thing since sliced bread, send in
your rave. Refer to mine for an idea of format and length.

WHAT'S NEW WITH OS/2?:
Do you have any hot developments that are OS/2 specific? Want a chance
to peddle your press releases?

OTHER THINGS:
Want to do an article, opinion piece, etc.? Let me know.
