As we continue to work toward our vision of what an archiving front end
should be, WarpZip makes it's latest beta appearance as version 1.07. We
invite you to download a copy and see just why WarpZip is one of the hottest
new applications for OS/2.
Changes in version 1.07:
Accept self-extracting zip files (EXE) via "Open" and drag & drop.
Added "Working..." indicator when extracting complete archives
Added compression settings for zip operations (0-9)
Extended Netscape temp directory length of field.
Moved zip building operations to another thread.
Allow moving archives when dropping on the directory container with
"shift" key depressed.
Changed Exit hotkey to F3 (was Alt+x, same as "Extract" DUH!)
Add "Working..." when extracting dropped archives
Fixed problem unzipping when dropping on a root directory
If you haven't tried it yet, we think you'll love the DownLoad Preprocessor
that comes with WarpZip. Downloading files off the internet becomes a
one-click affair and the work continues without any user intervention. You
go ahead and browse while your downloads are tested, scanned, moved and
queued. This is a preview opportunity we hope you won't pass up.
Version 1.07 downloads are available at the PillarSoft website and BMT
Micro. Also available soon at Hobbes and CDROM.
