   The OS/2 SIG of the Philadelphia Area Computer Society invites all
   interested computer users to attend the March monthly meeting:

            - -   3COM PalmPilot Demo by Ben Bowers   - -

 SIG member David Moskowitz, well-known consultant & author, spent two
 months at the Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, working in IBM's Surf
 Shack located in the Olympic Village, which housed 30-40 PC's for the use
 of the athletes to surf the web, respond to fan mail and create their own
 web pages. David will describe his activities in the Surf Shack and the
 role of OS/2, plus other Winter Olympics items of interest and happenings
 he was able to observe.

 Ben Bowers, another SIG member and enthusiastic OS/2 user will demo the
 various features and uses of the popular new 3COM PalmPilot Plus
 organizer. He will also discuss current and future Java and OS/2
 applications and enhancements for the PalmPilot system.

 Other agenda items include OS/2 news & new product announcements, SIG
 business matters, Q&A session, software raffle, etc. An OS/2 system will
 be on hand for live demos of OS/2, Java, Internet, etc. as time may
 permit. Free light refreshments will also be served.

 Driving directions to Episcopal Academy, the February meeting agenda and
 other useful information about OS/2 SIG activities may be found on our web
 site at http://www.phillyos2.org. Please log in frequently to stay abreast
 of the latest happenings.

 Folks without automobiles can take the SEPTA R-5 (Paoli Local) to the
 Overbrook RR station. Call Larry Lavins well ahead of time to make
 arrangements to be picked up at the Overbrook station.

 OS/2 SIG meetings are open & free for all OS/2 users, their guests and
 others interested in learning about OS/2. To hear about new and exciting
 developments, or get answers to your questions about OS/2 Warp and Java,
 this is the place to see OS/2 in action. Free light refreshments (soda,
 chips, pretzels) will also be served.
