Just a reminder that nominations for the position of Secretary of
VOICE are still open.
If you would like to nominate yourself, send an e-mail to:
voicevp@ibm.net
and include a short biography that we can post on the VOICE website
for the voting members to review before the ballots go out.
Also note that to hold office in VOICE requires that you are a paid
member. Anyone wishing to run for the office of Secretary who is not
currently a member will be expected to join if they are elected.
Information on VOICE memberships is available at
http://www.os2voice.org.
General meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month,
with special meetings scheduled as required (such as the upcoming
Speakup session with Sam Detweiler on Monday, March 30th). Meetings
are currently open members and non-members alike, and are conducted
on Webnet IRC in the #VOICE channel.
