Indelible Blue in the Fast Fifty
Indelible Blue Among NC Triangle's
50 Fastest Growing Companies
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Raleigh, North Carolina)--November 7, 1995--Indelible Blue,
a privately owned North Carolina-based catalog direct marketer
specializing in OS/2 applications and OS/2 compatible hardware, was
ranked fifth in the Triangle Business Journal's annual survey of the
Triangle area's (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) 50 fastest growing
privately held companies.
"We feel that this recognition indicates that we've reached a
long-anticipated business benchmark and solidified our niche in the
computer industry," states Katy Ansardi, vice president. "In addition,
we were pleased that our highest sales month ever coincided with the
release of Microsoft Windows `95."
Companywide growth of 2,764% over a five-year period, as well
as sustained growth in excess of 200% in 1995 qualified Indelible Blue
for competition. In 1994, Indelible Blue placed 14th in the Triangle
Fast 50. In a separate survey, Indelible Blue was also ranked fourth
among the fastest growing technology companies in North Carolina,
which led to a national placement of 71st in Technology Transfer
Business Magazine's annual survey of the nation's 500 fastest growing
technology companies.
The Triangle Fast 50 awards competition is sponsored by KPMG
Peat Marwick LLP, Triangle Business Journal, and the Council for
Entrepreneurial Development to recognize fast growing businesses for
their contributions to the growth and success of the Triangle area.
Incorporated in 1987, Indelible Blue markets and sells OS/2
compatible software, including IBM and hundreds of third party
software applications; OS/2 compatible hardware components and
hardware systems, serving customers worldwide.
