Over the past year, it's become increasingly clear that comp.org.team-os2
is not fulfilling the purpose it was intended to, i.e. for Teamers to
discuss OS/2 advocacy. In the last three months, all the submissions to
comp.org.team-os2 have been either spam, or technical support queries,
which have been directed to a more appropriate place. As a result, I feel
that the time has come for me to step down as moderator of
comp.org.team-os2.
I feel that with the right person at the helm, this newsgroup could
become a useful resource to Teamers, but that I am no longer the right
person. My interest in advocacy has faded, and I no longer use OS/2 as
my OS of choice, having been wooed by the many charms of free UNIX.
Therefore I would like to pass on the tasks of maintaining the Team OS/2
FAQ and moderating comp.org.team-os2 to someone else.
If anyone is interested in filling either or both of these roles, please
could they get in touch with me via email.
It's been a pleasure to serve the Team OS/2 community, which I have now
been doing in various guises for over five years, but it's time for me
to move on. I wish you all every success in keeping the flag flying for
OS/2.
Thank you,
Christi
