---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
This is to let you know that I have released a BETA II version of PGP 5.0
for OS/2.
There were a couple of nasty bugs that needed to be fixed ASAP:
Long File Names:
PGP will now replace the *.xxx file extension when encrypting/signing
files rather than appending a *.xxx.pgp or *.xxx.asc. This was to solve
problems with running PGP 5.0 on FAT filesystems that can only handle 8.3
filenames.
Extra CR:
When extracting a PGP key and extra CR was being added to every line. This
has been fixed. All PGP generated files should now use CR-LF for a
"end-of-line" marker.
The "fix" for Post Road Mailer is included in this archive as pgpprm.zip.
Nothing has changed in this file so if you already have it you don't need
to replace it.
Several people have asked about broken links. My website is currently
undergoing remodeling so there are some web pages and files that have not
been uploaded. Give me a few days and everything should be up and running.

If anyone decided to write a translation of the Language50.txt file let me
know and I will put it up on my website.
PMMail users:
Unless something major comes up I will be working on a "fix" so you can use
PMMail with 5.0.
MR/2 ICE users:
I am almost finished with the new scripts for using 5.0
Internet Adventure:
I am working on PGP scripts for you. I am about 75% of the way on them.
