The 0.0.9 beta release of the CodeQuill text editor is now available.
CodeQuill is a text editor written in entirely in Java.
CodeQuill is not freeware. Though under evaluation, CodeQuill will
probably be released as Shareware after the beta period.
Features:
- vi style keyboard and command line.
- User definable syntax expansion.
- Auto-nesting.
- Selectable tab stops.
- Space expansion/tab compression.
- Rotating Command line buffer.
- End of line space stripping.
- File recall list.
- Match case search option.
Requirements:
CodeQuill requires a Java 1.1 platform.
CodeQuill has been reported to run on OS/2, Windows NT, AIX,
Solaris, and Linux.
New:
This release adds: Match case search option, auto-save of screen
size and location, and a file recall list.
Bugs fixed:
Reverse marked screen areas were not copied to clipboard.
