The latest version of the OS/2 benchmarking tool, Sysbench 0.9.3a, is
now available. I have uploaded it to ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu in
/pub/incoming directory. Its final destination is
/pub/os2/util/benchmark and the file name is sysb093a.zip.
Sysbench includes various tests for Graphics, CPU integer and floating point,
DIVE, File I/O, Memory, Disk I/O and CD-ROM I/O. The latest version includes
new information about the web site for results and fixes for various
problems. Major changes in this version:
1) support for versions of Warp that do not include the System VIO font. This
should allow users of DBCS copies of OS/2 to run Sysbench.
2) Corrected FLOPS test previously available as sysbflop.zip
3) Added information to the results files about the version of OS/2 in use,
fixpack levels and revision numbers etc.
