Announcing the NYPC OS/2 SIG December Meeting (Date, special time, and
directions below)
The biggest NYPC OS/2 SIG Meeting in history is about to take place, to make
this year's holidays even happier!
We will have ALL of the following:
Buck Bohac of Indelible Blue will be in town to continue our holiday
tradition and show us all the latest and hottest goodies for OS/2 Warp, just
in time for the holidays to make your shopping list complete.
Note: If you would like purchase software from Indelible Blue and have it
hand delivered and autographed (optional) by Buck himself, send him an e-mail
(bbohac@indelible-blue.com), then simply bring payment (cash only please) to
the meeting. What better way is there to get OS/2 software?!
Phil Mandato of IBM will be showing off the just released Workspace
On-Demand. The Operating System leading the way to network computing,
powered by OS/2 Warp!
As if those two were not enough to pack the house, we will also have an OS/2
10th Anniversary cake!
And while you're having your cake and eating it too, you will be able to
bid on selected titles of OS/2 software during our NYPC OS/2 SIG auction.
(Sorry, only cash or check this time around.) We have approximately 40-50
items to auction off, so there should be something to peak everyone's
interest. Proceeds from the auction will go directly toward the purchase of
brand new laptop for the OS/2 SIG!
And no NYPC OS/2 SIG meeting would be complete without a full selection
of handouts:
Pick up articles on the latest OS/2 biz from around the world, but not until
after you pick your complementary Lotus SmartSuite for OS/2 Warp Beta CD,
courtesy of Buck Bohac! (Quantities limited, first come, first serve.)
Please join us and help 1997 go out with a bang, bring a friend, the more the
merrier.
We need to gauge how much cake and coffee we will need,
so.....................
