InnoVal Systems Solutions announced that the Best of OS/2 web site has been
revised. The instant announcements section and the help forum have been
discontinued. Links are provided to alternate and better facilities.
Commenting on the change, Dan Porter, InnoVal's president said, "We created
these facilities at a time of need. Warpcast and the forums at the OS/2
Supersite have eclipsed the services at Best Of OS/2. It made more sense to
focus on useful links than to maintain redundant and less useful facilities."
Links are provided to the major ezines, the Daily Hobbes Report, the very
useful and dynamic list of announcements in Dejanews, Warpcast, and the OS/2
Supersite.
Porter, continued, "It is a matter of focus. Orders for NetExtra and the Post
Road Mailer surpassed anything that we anticipated. With that goes an
increased demand for customer support and product support. We are also very
busy with the Java version of our best selling mailer. Right now, we have
three people programming and others working on design and testing of Post
Road Mailer for Java. Though it didn't take much time to maintain these
facilities, we need to focus all of our attention on doing what we do best;
products for OS/2 and customer service."
