WARPCAST NEWS SERVICE MOVES TO NEW DOMAIN
November 12, 1997
WarpCast, the FREE OS/2 News Service from OS/2 e-Zine! and the
OS/2 Supersite recently moved to its own permanent domain:
http://www.warpcast.com/
Complete information, subscription and submission forms and the
WarpCast FAQ can now be found at the new home page.
"The incredibly positive response that WarpCast has received
prompted the move to the new domain and a minor reorganization
of the web site," said Trevor Smith, President of Haligonian
Media, one of the companies responsible for producing WarpCast.
"This move is just part of the ongoing effort we are making to
ensure WarpCast is the best source of OS/2 news, rumours, and
announcements for everyone."
As before, anyone interested in OS/2 news can subscribe (for
free) to receive news via e-mail *as it is reported*, or in one
'digest' e-mail per day. And for readers who don't have access
to e-mail or who prefer the WWW, all WarpCast news, rumours and
announcements are posted immediately and archived indefinitely
to the WarpCast WWW Archive (see the link on the WarpCast Home
Page).
New Features Planned
Many new features are also coming down the line for WarpCast.
These include an on-line search facility for quick and simple
searching of topics in past WarpCast announcements, as well as
further refinements to the WarpCast web site.
About WarpCast
WarpCast (http://www.warpcast.com/) is the professionally
moderated source for OS/2 industry news, rumors and
announcements. Readers have the option to receive news
automatically via e-mail -OR- to browse a digest of each day's
messages on the WWW.
About OS/2 e-Zine!
OS/2 e-Zine! (http://www.os2ezine.com/) is a monthly OS/2
magazine published free of charge since 1995 on the WWW and in
zipped format to BBS's and FTP sites worldwide. Its purpose
is to encourage the use and discussion of OS/2 and its native
software. Every issue reaches over 36,000 readers and contains
news, reviews, tips and articles relevant to the novice and
experienced OS/2 user.
About The OS/2 Supersite

information on the Web, and is the home of Rapid Internet
Purchasing (RIP), with the largest selection of OS/2 products for
