The OS/2 SIG of the Philadelphia Area Computer Society invites all
interested computer users to attend the November monthly meeting:
          WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 1997 7:00 - 10:00 PM
IBM Office Building, 580 East Swedesford Road, Wayne, PA

                 *** SPECIAL NOVEMBER FEATURES ***
      - - IBM's New Network Technology: WORKSPACE ON DEMAND - -
                 - - OS/2 TENTH BIRTHDAY PARTY - -

Jim Geueke of IBM/PSP will conduct a presentation of the benefits of network
computing, followed by a live demo of IBM's newest network technology,
"Workspace on Demand." WSOD is an OS/2 based system, for customers who want
the means to reduce costs using optimized network technology. It reaps
benefits of centralized server-managed clients without losing the
flexibility and power of traditional PS's.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the OS/2 operating system, IBM is
treating us to a special party at the November meeting: a real party, with
cake, balloons, door prizes, etc. All our regular members, other OS/2 users,
their guests & others are invited to party with us.

Other agenda items include OS/2 news and new product announcements,
Warpstock '97 report, discussion and live demos of OS/2 apps, Java,
Internet, Q&A session, software raffle, and more, as time may permit.

OS/2 SIG meetings are open and free for all OS/2 users, their guests and
others interested in learning about OS/2. To hear about new and exciting
developments, or get answers to your questions about OS/2 Warp, this is the
place to see OS/2 in action.
