There's a (fairly) new mailing list for discussion of the NeoN Grafix
rendering package. The list has been created and is supported by users of the
program.
To subscribe to the NEON3D-L list send an email message to
listserv@vm.ege.edu.tr
with a blank or garbage subject line (doesn't matter). In the body of the
message, include one line
sub neon3d-l <your first name> <your last name>
For example:
sub neon3d-l John Smith
What is NeoN Grafix?
--------------------
With NeoN Grafix, you create and render objects in a 3D environment. The
program outputs TGA or BMP files, either single frame or multiple frames for
an animation. Multiple frames can be strung together (using something like
MainActor, the AVI File Utility, WebAK) to produce AVI, FLI, animated GIF
files, etc.
Full and Light versions of NeoN Grafix are available from OS/2 retailers like
J3 Computer Technologies ( http://www.os2store.com/ ), Indelible Blue (
http://www.indelible-blue.com/ ), etc. The program is available for OS/2 and
Windows.
More information on the program is available from Compo Software (English -
http://www.neongrafix.com/ ) and TEAM Computer GmbH (German -
http://www.team-computer.de/ ). A demo of the program is available from those
sites, as well as HOBBES ( http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/ ).
