Here are some more details on the WorkSpace On-Demand training available at
NO CHARGE.  In the U.S., two courses are available to all IBM employees,
partners, and customers.  Please phone 1-800-IBM-TEACh to enroll or for more
information.  (Classes are also available outside the United States; please
see the previous announcement for dates/cities.)

Workspace On-Demand Technical Specialist Education
Course Number:  N2229           Duration: 3 DAYS
Dates:  November 11 - Gaithersburg, Maryland
               November 4   - San Francisco,  California
Classroom (Traditional stand-up class)
Cost: No Charge

Description
 This three day class will provide detailed "hands on" training for IBM's
 forthcoming managed PC client software, Workspace On-Demand. The class will
 position WSOD relative to other Network Computing offerings from IBM,
 describe how to implement a managed client environment using OS/2 Warp Server
 and WSOD, and provide detailed information on how to use the new tools
 included in the WSOD product.  Class attendees will gain practical experience
 in installing and configuring WSOD through the hands-on laboratory exercises
 that form a major part of this class.

Audience
 This class is open to IBM technical specialists, Business Partner technical
 personnel and IBM customers.

Objective
     After successful completion of the program, the student
     should be able to:
 -   Understand WSOD and position it relative to other Network
     Computing offerings
 -   Identify where WSOD is and is not applicable to a customer
     situation
 -   Understand the pre-requisites for a successful WSOD
     installation and deployment
 -   Plan for a detailed proof-of-concept installation
 -   Install and configure WSOD on an OS/2 Warp Server system
 -   Configure WSOD client images at the server, using the tools
     included in the WSOD product
 -   Configure client applications to operate in a WSOD
     environment
 -   Configure additional hardware configurations in addition to
     those supported by the standard WSOD product
 -   Tune a WSOD installation to optimize performance
