Version 1.00 B3B of ProNews/2 has been released! This release is mainly to
fix problems introduced with the features added for Beta 3.
Added features:
* It is now possible to add a button to the toolbar that will open the decoded
binaries folder.
* If you hit the send button while posting (except in forwarding messages,
where this feature is disabled) and you have not changed any text you are
asked whether to send the message or cancel the send.
* Added a percentage counter to the group window filtering. With a lot of
filters in large groups you can now see the progress.
* When the list of newsgroups is refreshed the 'new groups' tab now reflects
the number of new groups.
Bug fixes and changes:
* Fixed problem with articles not being able to be marked as read or
downloaded.
* Decoding articles now takes a LOT less memory.
* Fixed the problem with corrupt xrf files being able to crash the program.
* Fixed problem with message ID's being rejected by servers and a number of
other posting problems.
* Reduced the amount of memory the program uses greatly.
* Fixed a problem with messages with lines over 2048 characters crashing the
program.
* Made crosspost support not get the same article twice at the same time if it
is queued from 2 separate groups.
* The 'retrieve all bodies' setting no longer gets articles that have been
filtered out.
* ProNews can now be closed in the middle of establishing a connection.
* Fixed crash with expand all unread trees.
* The program now deletes all orphaned .TMP files each time it is started.
* The plus sigh (+) is now recognized as being a valid part of an URL for the
purposes of syntax highlighting.
* The asterisks (*) is now recognized as a valid part of an email address.
(It is used in quite a few 'nospam' portions of peoples addresses).
* Fixed problem with 'recv buffer full' messages.
* Fixed problem trying to select the last character in a line in the syntax
highlighting message viewer.
* Fixed problem with the program crashing in the groups window if the F3
family of option were executed with no article selected.
* If there is a space in a UUDECODEd file ProNews was truncating the filename
at the space. It now saves to the proper filename.
* A fixed width font is now used in the settings notebook where the signature
is configured.
* When importing into the signature window the proper translation is now used.
* Fixed problem with group window RMB menu when there was no text in the
viewing window selected.
* Fixed crash when attempting to use RMB menu in the all groups window.
* Many more small bugs were taken care of for this release!
