From the FAQ:
What is the Internet Junkbuster and what does it do for me?
The Internet Junkbuster Proxy TM blocks requests for URLs (typically banner
ads) that match its blockfile. It also deletes cookies and other unwanted
identifying header information that is exchanged between web servers and
browsers. These headers are not normally accessible to users (even though they
may contain information that's important to your privacy), but with the
Internet Junkbuster you can see almost anything you want and control
everything you're likely to need. You decide what's junk.
Junkbuster is an instrumentable proxy that filters the HTTP stream between web
servers and browsers. Its main purpose is to enhance privacy.
I compiled the freely available UNIX version of Internet Junkbuster 2.0 (see
http://www.junkbuster.com for more info) to OS/2 using the EMX library, so you
need the EMX runtime package 0.9c fix 3 or later.
The program is currently located at
ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/incoming/ijb20os2.zip
but is expected to move to
ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/apps/internet/www/util/ijb20os2.zip
