The OS/2 Bay Area User Group has the following activities scheduled for the
remainder of September, 1997:
___________________________________

Monday, September 22, General Meeting:
Mike Kaply, IBM, Development Team Leader, Netscape Communicator for
OS/2; William Law, OS2BAUG, member of Development Team:
Subject: "Netscape Version 4.0 (Communicator) for OS/2"
================================================================

A General Meeting will be held on Monday, Sept 22, 1997 at Stanford Linear
Accelerator Auditorium, 2575 Sand Hill Rd, Menlo Park, California from 7:00 PM
to 9:00 PM. (Q&A session/New User Clinic at 7:00PM, General Meeting begins at
7:30)

The September General Meeting of OS2BAUG will feature a presentation by Mike
Kaply, IBM's Development Team Leader (with Netscape, of course) for Netscape
4.0, also known as "Communicator." Also presenting will be our own Bill Law,
one of Netscape's developers for this project. We're also hoping to be
addressed by Lanness Robinson, IBM Development Manager.

Netscape Communicator is a key element in the era of "network computing" we
keep hearing so much about, and thus represents a major development for OS/2
Warp. It's a product we've been waiting for, and the September OS2BAUG
General Meeting will be one of the best places to get the "inside story" and a
peek at this important project.

It's not the sort of event you'll want to miss. Otherwise, what will you tell
your grandchildren when they ask where YOU were when network computing was
evolving?
