===== EDM/2 Announces registration for the online C course
The URL is http://www.edm2.com/
EDM/2 is proud to announce the immediate availability of an introductory C
course, for which registration can be done at the web site. The C course will
be aimed at people who want to learn C, but who have some idea about
programming in general. The format is that of a mailing list with an
instructor setting the pace of reading, and setting exercises for students to
complete.
The general idea is that students will help each other out by answering each
others questions, and that the instructor will be there as a tie-breaker, and
general guru, answering questions that others cannot.
The required text for the course is the famous "The C Programming Language,
ANSI edition", Kernighan and Ritchie. This book can be purchased through EDM/2,
by following the bookstore link on the front page.
Once the C course completes, more courses will be offered, including C++, Java
and much more.
The cost is $25 US, which can be paid online.
Find more info at http://www.edm2.com/ and register soon!
The deadline is September 22nd, and the course starts that date too.
