         Hi Folks!

important month for us as we have an important announcement to make regarding
the future of the magazine.

written.

Please read it and see where we are heading.

Beginners' Luck (for the beginner in all of us)

**** Please be aware that this issue is the FINAL ISSUE of OS/2
Computing! Magazine!! We are changing our format and will become 32 Bits
Online. We are NOT, I repeat, NOT abandoning OS/2!!!! We will continue to
give OS/2 the same coverage as we always have. We are simply spreading our
wings a bit to include other 32 bit platforms, including Win95/NT and Linux.
We will also be focusing on Java. This will give everyone a bit more variety,
but we will never abandon our roots as an OS/2 publication.

We will, in fact, be one of the few, if not the only publication, to
showcase OS/2 next to these other platforms, showing it side by side, on a
regular basis. We want to give the reader some balance and show that OS/2
is, in fact, the equal if not superior platform. Anyone reading 32 Bits
Online will see that OS/2 is just as capable and important as the Microsoft
platforms. It is our hope that this will elevate the stature of OS/2 in the
minds of the reading public and hopefully attract more people to OS/2.

We would like to thank all of our faithful readers for staying with us in
the past and sticking with us in this time of transition. Thanks!!!

Note: I will not be responding to any flames from COOA... : - )
