I have been building an informational OS/2 web site over the past 8
months. It has some unique and useful information and software regarding
several areas of OS/2. The whole site is FREE -- no ads, no software that
isn't freeware. Plus, all the HTML is pretty simple and should be viewable
from any browser. The URL is:

Stop by if one of the following topics interest you:
* The Case for OS/2 -- some good reasons to use OS/2, a list of some companies
running OS/2 and what they are using it for, as well as comparisons against
Windows NT. If anyone wants to add something here, let me know!
* HotJava -- want to use Java 1.1.1 applets? HotJava will let you, but has no
official OS/2 install. I figured out how to get it running under OS/2, and
documented it for your use.
* Java program objects -- if your still puzzled, look at the Java section in
the WPS information site and find out how working Java program objects can be
made.
* WPS information, including a small explanation of the classes, how to remove
and add WPS classes, and various tips on some not very obvious, but useful
features.
* AutoDial -- a remote PPP dialup script in REXX, will dial your ISP at the
ring of the phone and email your computer's IP address so you can use your
computer at a distance. Other software like telnetd, ftpd, and PM2You (among
others) give you remote control of your system after its connected.
* DialPPP -- just the dialer part of AutoDial, uses OS/2's text based PPP
dialer to connect. Same capabilities as the PM dialer OS/2 comes with, but
without the ISP selection screen. Can be setup with other programs to dial
your ISP without any user interaction.
* Removable HPFS -- HPFSRem lets you safely remove HPFS disks with the right
setup. It isn't for everyone, but sometimes it works great. The web based
information is newer than then the documentation included with HPFSRem, so
look it over if you want to use it.
Have fun!
