PowerQuest today announced that PartitionMagic 2.0 will begin
shipping 11/20. Version 2.0 will include the ability to dynamically
resize clusters. This will enable users to reclaim hundreds of
megabytes of lost disk space.
Version 2.0 will completely replace FDISK and
FORMAT in that users can now create partitions in addition
to shrinking, expanding, and moving partitions without destroying
data. Other features allow users to hide/unhide partitions to
increase security, and to double the size of the root directory
for long file names if they are using Win95 as well as OS/2.
