The OS/2-Java SIG of the Columbia-Baltimore Users Group (CBUG)will meet at
7:00pm on August 21st at the Locust Park Community Center in Columbia, MD.
The meeting will start with our usual Q&A session followed by two new regular
topics *What's new with OS/2 and *WPS tips and tricks. The regular
presentation will be an overview of Java integration into the OS/2 WPS with
demonstrations on how OS/2 can run remote applets and applications on the
desktop (without a browser) and creating and using Java objects.
As usual, membership in CBUG is not required and all interested parties are
invited to attend our presentation, however, officers of CBUG will be present
to assist those wishing to join the parent club.
The Locust Park Community Center is easily accessible via I-95 or Route 29.
From I-95 take Rt. 175 west approximately 3 miles and turn right on Tamar Dr.
Make the next right onto Lambskin Lane and the first right into the Locust
Park parking lot. From Rt. 29 take Rt. 175 east approximately 2 miles and make
a left on Tamar Drive. Follow the previous directions to Locust Park Community
Center.
