---------------------------------------------------------------------
Many OS/2 web pages have been carrying LinkExchange
(http://www.linkexchange.com) banners. LinkExchange is a free service where
you advertise banners on your web page in exchange for your banner appearing
on other web pages. LE is a great way for OS/2 web pages to get exposure on
non-OS/2 web sites, thereby getting more exposure for OS/2 itself.

LE recently added a category section, so that LE members could not only
categorize their web pages, but they could target where they wanted their
advertisements to be. For instance, you could say that you wanted your OS/2
page advertised only on Windows-oriented web sites.

One of the categories is Operating Systems. Unfortunately, OS/2 was not
available when this service was introduced. But thanks to "lots of email
requests", LE has added OS/2 Warp as a category!

So if you have an OS/2 web page, and you don't subscribe to LinkExchange, now
would be a great time to start. And if you are an LE member, you should
categorize your web page. Simply log in and follow the prompts.

For an example of an LE banner, look at the top of my new user page, now
located at the OS/2 Supersite: http://www.os2ss.com/Information/Newusers/
