Sysbench 0.9.2 is now available for download from ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu where
I have posted it to /pub/incoming with its final destination being
/pub/os2/util/benchmark. The filename is SYSBN092.ZIP.
This is the latest release of the OS/2 benchmark program and includes several
major changes from previous versions. Due to these changes the results from
this version should not be compared directly with results from the 0.9.1x
series though I have attempted to keep the results as much the same as
possible. This release consists of the executables and sample results only. In
order to reduce the size of the download I have removed the source from this
version and reduced the size of the file from about 800Kb to 370Kb.
Major changes in this release:

Symmetric MultiProcessing support for CPU tests added. This means that the
benchmark now consists of multiple EXE files.
CPU utilisation figures on disk and CD tests are now calculated using a new
API available in Warp 4 and in some of the later fixpacks for Warp 3 (fixpack
29 or later). This improves their accuracy. On releases of OS/2 that do not
support this API the old methodology is used.
Reduced the weighting assigned to the "Cache/bus xfer" disk test in the
overall Disk I/O mark.
Changed the screen display code so that only the summary figure for each group
of tests is visible by default. Each group of tests can be expanded to show
the individual test results. The current group of tests is expanded while it
is in progress. A new menu option allows you to select the previous method of
display (all expanded).
Changed the graphics tests to perform in fullscreen mode.
Many other more minor bugs fixed and enhancements added. Details can be found
in the "changes.txt" file inside the ZIP file.
