-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We meet the 1st THURSDAY of the month.

The next OS/2 User's Group meeting will take place on Thursday, November
2nd at the IBM Building at 6:00.

The IBM Building is located at 4700 S. Syracuse which is next to Garcias,
close to the intersection of I-25 and Belleview.

This month: IBM Entertainment Pack!

Well, Robert had a few problems locating one for the meeting, but he got one!
IBM is already in its SECOND printing! It has utilities, games and
other stuff. There will be one copy to give away at the meeting.

Also, a copy of OS/2 WARP Connect Fullpack will be available for the
grabbing.. and all you have to do IS SHOW UP!! I have OS/2 WARP Connect
Fullpack, and let me tell you, it is worth it! I wouldn't mind winning the
other for an additional license to peer network my two at home! Connect adds
Peer Networking, Novell Requestor, Lotus Notes Express (a full license if
you've already got the server side), Dial-In Network Support, FULL TCP/IP,
including FTP deamons, Talk deamons, SNMP, Telnet deamons.. And More! Oh,
there is also a thing called MPTS, Multi-Protocal Transprot Services. If
you've EVER tried getting Novell Requestor & TCP/IP on the same OS/2 box, you
know it can be tricky.. MPTS takes care of seperate protocol handling FOR
you.. It is slick, really!
