IBM has just released the entry version of their new Visual Age for JAVA
package. VA for Java has been receiving rave reviews from the most popular PC
magazines, see July issue of Byte magazine.

The best news however, is that released the Entry version for OS/2 for FREE
from their web-site:

        http://www.software.ibm.com/ad/vajava

This is a excellent product, but you will need a good computer to use it
(although the code produced does not). I would recommend at least a P166 and
64MB RAM, even though these are above IBM recommendations.

Even though the IDE is not typical IBM, it is colorful and a joy to work with,
it is typical IBM that they have not announced it's availability yet.
