DYNDNS/2 3.2 is officially released as of today (7-9-97)!!!

DYNDNS/2 is the official OS/2 Client for DYNDNS.com and ML.ORG's dynamic
naming services. DYNDNS/2 3.2 has 3 new features:
1. RETRY (RETRY connection to dyndns.com or ml.org a set under of times if
connection fails.)
2. Menu Option (A little menu system that enables the user to skip loop and
more. Not much of a menu system but is helpful.)
3. Bells (Bells is an feature that enables the user to enable or disable the
warning bells.)
You may still be wondering what "Dynamic naming" services are. Well, in nut
shell, they basically give you the power to have a STATIC DNS name (not IP)
assigned to your dynamic IP. Services are generally cheap (from Free to 25
bucks/yr). And if you have the ability to be connected to the internet for
long periods of time and always wanted to run your own WWW,Mail,FTP,Gopher,etc
server. Or just have a static DNS name so it's easy top play games over the
net with your friends. DYNDNS/2 is the OS/2 client you need! Check out
www.dyndns.com and/or www.ml.org for more information on dynamic naming
services.
DYNDNS/2 is a very powerful text based client that will soon become GUI based.
DYNDNS/2 4.0/5.0 production has been restarted and more new features have been
added to the feature list. DYNDNS/2 4.0 (Freeware) will be released with a ton
of other Freeware Shareware and commercial software in a few months. So Keep
you eye on http://Sektortech.dyndns.com for future applications on the drawing
board.
