Rtf2Ipf is a utility for converting Microsoft WinHelp Rich Text Format (RTF)
files to IBM IPF files. With the aid of this converter, the help author may
produce IPF files using their favorite WinHelp authoring tool. The converter
is currently being used by a major computer manufacturer to produce online
documentation for an OS/2 product using RoboHelp for authoring.
Rtf2Ipf is an intelligent converter, translating unstructured RTF into IPF
structures. It fully supports the IPF structured list tags, included ordered
lists (:ol), unordered lists (:ul), and description lists (:dl). Lists may be
nested. The converter also supports RTF tables.
Using Rtf2Ipf is as easy as using the Microsoft help compiler. It reads the
same help project file and contents file that are used by the Microsoft help
compiler.
