NOW WITH REXX installation! Plus all new FinkBar 1.00 too.
A new updated version 4.02 of TinkBar Lite and TinkBar for Word Pro for OS/2
(and Windows too) is now available from the TinkBar Web Page.

TinkBar works with ALL official Lotus Word Pro and SmartSuite releases on all
supported OS's. Extra effort was taken to preserve OS/2 parity with all
functions.
Highlights of What's New in Version 4.02 TinkBar (T) and TinkLite (TL)
- More versatility with characters, they can now be inserted in between
text. (both bars)
- Extra quotes (requested by Father Winston). (T)
- The Ellipsis (why didn't I think of this the first time). (T) - Extra
icons to create more specialized envelopes and have them handy
for use. (T)
- Envelope SmartMasters to otherwise inspire or make you laugh your way
into creating your own, if you haven't already.(both bars)

- Footnote and Endnote icons. (T)
- An Endnote SmartMaster that provides superscripted endnotes. (T)
- A Script for copying endnotes into a separate, malleable document. (T)
- A document that quickly assigns hotkey combos (T)
Included Icons Will Perform the Following
- Send a file to your fax printer (many versions of WinFax and FaxWorks
are supported).
- Print a file immediately, without stopping at the print dialog box.
- Print only certain pages of a file quickly, those you choose.
- Insert Curly Quotes. (not all quotes are supported in the TL)
- Change the page color to an easy view vanilla color.
- Change the page color back to white or a currently used SmartMaster's color
for printing.
- Insert the Endash, Emdash, Ellipsis (T), Legal Section Mark, Copyright,
Trademark, or Registered Symbols
- Insert an empty checkbox, an "x'd" checkbox, a checked checkbox (T)
- Hop through a document from beginning to end, seeking (one at a time) and
deleting frames. Nice for HTML documents.
- Switch between different Envelope SmartMasters. (two in TL and four in T)
- Switch back to the Lotus default envelope. (T)
- Insert varying flavors of footnotes and endnotes. (T)
- Copy the Endnotes division to a separate file. (T)
- Provide a SmartMaster for endnotes that are superscripte (T)
An online manual comes in LWP document form with the TinkBar
Also new is a WinOS2 based installation program. Version 4.0 does require
WinOS2 support to perform the installation. A new version 4.02 REXX based
install is now already for users without WinOS2. All setup is now performed
for you and an uninstall function is provided.
A future version 5.0 will include Network based TinkBar. Version 4.0 currently
will require that the scripts, icons, and smasters directories reside on local
disk drives only. Additional requirements can be found on the TinkBar home
page.

If you are an old time Ami Pro user you probably miss the Init caps function.
FinkBar brings it back and even better. Automatic culling of standard words
not normally capitalized has been added as well as a user defined list of
additional words have been added
FinkBar includes other special caps things you can do too.

TinkBar and Fink Bar is not a supported product of Lotus Development
Corporation. TinkBar does have a strong OS/2 user base that will continue to
be supported. We ain't Lotus!
