How many people actually fill in all the Titles and Track names to the CD
player that comes with OS/2? I've avoided it because you lost the info
whenever you re-installed the multimedia stuff. No more.
Introducing CDTag.
CDTag will extract the Title and Track information from the CD player's INI
file and store it in an external file. It also will add information to the
file for CD's that you don't even have. The net result should be that the
data should only have to be entered once, and then the files from many can be
merged into one and then distributed. With many people participating, it
should be possible to quickly build a database of thousands of CD's.
CDTag is distributed as 'job-ware'. That's where you're allowed to use the
program, free of charge, for as long as you like; however, you are required to
view the authors resume at the address below and inform him of any computer
programming job openings that you know about.
All notifications should be sent to:
etchris@ibm.net
The resume is online at:

The link to CDTag is at the bottom (HEH! You're half registered already!!)
