Bootset 1.0

What is bootset ?

Bootset is a program that steps in just before PM (the graphical part of OS/2)
is loaded. It allows you to run whatever program you want (though it must be
character based), to change setting, copy otherwise locked files and similar
tasks.

OS/2 Warp has a similar feature, the Alt-F1 screen. Its a great feature
but Bootset has a few plusses (and minuses) compared to Alt-F1.

+ It doesn't require you to reboot after a program has been run.
+ Alt-F1 requires Warp 3 or 4, Bootset is compatible with 2.x
+ Bootset gives you an easy to use menu.
+ Bootset allows you to use REXX
+ All drivers are loaded when Bootset runs
+ You can influence Bootset

- Bootset is run after CONFIG.SYS is activated so you have to reboot
if you change/edit CONFIG.SYS.
- Alt-F1 is for free

BootSet is available through BMT Micro just like WebNavigator and at
our website.
