There have been some messages on the newsgroups recently questioning when
PMINews will be out. Unfortunately we've been so busy working on development
of PMINews that we really haven't had time to address these issues.
The truth is PMINews would have already been done if we hadn't decided to make
some significant changes to the underlying structure that would yield
tremendous improvements in performance and stability.
We would rather deliver a product that's a little late, but exceptional
instead of a product that's acceptable and on time. This has been seen with
PMMail 1.5 which was postponed to add significant functionality.
That said, our new schedule for completion of PMINews is on our web page at
http://www.southsoft.com/pmisched.html Basically, the page outlines our desire
to have the project completed and released in May.
We apologize for the delay, and not telling you about these circumstances
sooner.
