At last night's meeting (Tuesday, 11th March, 1997) of the WARP User's Group
of Montreal, I officially stepped down as Founder and President of the group.
By popular acclamation,
Samuel Audet <gardia@cam.org> was appointed as the new President in my
place. I was delighted at the choice, since Samuel is a bilingual Francophone,
and a talented programmer.
Andrew Aandor <aandor@spherenet.com> remains in the position of Treasurer /
Vice-President.
James McCarte <jamesmc@cdep.com> remains as Editor and Sysop.
David Grant <djgrant@odyssee.net> was absent, but retained as Web Master
in charge of http://www. wug.iisys.com
Terry Fong <terryf@cam.org> remains as Secretary (pro-tem).
I trust that the members and others who have supported the group by their
attendance, or in other ways, will continue to do so. I am proud that my
efforts have successfully produced this growing and interesting group of PC
enthusiasts.
I am confident that the enthusiastic support that you have provided to the
group (through me), will continue.
