Stardock's popular add on to Galactic Civilizations, has been updated!

A new component data file is available on Stardock's web site that will
allow users to make significantly more powerful ships in Shipyards than
previously.

The SDS/AI in Galactic Civilizations will automatically take advantage of
the new components making for much more challenging play and newer
and more exciting types of star ship designs.

Background:
Galactic Civilizations is an advanced strategy game from Stardock Systems, Inc.
In it, you build an interstellar civilization and compete against up to 5
computer controlled players. It has received very favorable reviews from
Computer Gaming World and PC Gamer (along with OS/2 Magazine).

Shipyards addresses requests from players. GalCiv comes with 30 defined types
of star ships you can build. Many players wanted to be able to design their
very own unique types of ships (i.e. deicde how they look, what they are
called, what kinds of weapons, engines, armor, etc. they have). Shipyards
allows you to take the technologies you have researched and build your own
classes of ships.

You must already have Shipyards installed to use this.

Shipyards is available from Stardock Systems for $14.95. You can also get it
from the OS/2 Shareware BBS. Shipyards is a commercial product.

Galactic Civilizations can be found at most retail outlets or directly from
Stardock Systems at 313/453-0328.

The WEB site that has the update can be found at:
