CSN ANNOUNCES A BETA TEST FOR CYBER-ALERT

West Hartford, CT January 20, 1997 - Client Server Networking (CSN) today is
announcing a Beta test for CYBER-ALERT. The Beta code will be available mid
February 1997 from our web site.

Are you one of the new species of "infopreneurs"? Does your presence on the
Internet or your corporate Intranet provide the accessibility, availability
and performance needed to measure up your expectations and strategies?

CYBER-ALERT monitors Internet and Intranet servers. A simple installation on
an single OS/2 system connected to your net requires no other agents or remote
installation.

Mail, Web, FTP, News and Gopher servers are monitored for availability. You
may even ping any node to check viability. Continually updated graphics
provide a visual display of availability.

Monitoring is not just a Ping but a connection is made to each server with a
request for service. This connection and request for service provides for
statistics to analyze performance. The optional Log and analysis program
provides for a review of each server by graphing performance for connection
and data transfer.

Any detected server failure will provide a notification via SMTP Mail and/or
make a phone call to your pager. You'll never need a user call to know a
server is down!

CYBER-ALERT is an OS/2 program and requires an Internet or Intranet connection
and the installation of TCP/IP.

There are numerous high-tech ways to manage your servers but there is none
simpler then Cyber-Alert.

The Beta copy of the program will be available on our web page:
