Snow Storm Software has just release a new version of Escape GL. Release 97c
improvements include:
- new indirect rendering capabilities, when used, fixes the mouse problems,
as well as many video driver problems (especially 16M color drivers).
- improved stability when switching between modules, less crashing
- general improvements for existing modules
- new high resolution timer for smoother animation on fast systems
- improved threading for better performance
- full screen test mode for testing the current settings, the test
will terminate after 30 seconds on 'Preview' versions
- new settings for all OpenGL modules to allow manual setting of
window sizes on lockup
- three new OpenGL modules
Also released is Escape GL Release 97c Blanker and ScreenSaver support
This new support will allow you to run Escape GL modules under 'Blanker'
or 'ScreenSaver' screen savers.
