January 6, 1997 - Modular Dreams Incorporated today announces the release of
MD+F Animated GIF Writer for ColorWorks, their second product in a series of
plug-in enhancement for SPG ColorWorks V2.
Modular Dreams' MD+F Animated GIF Writer for ColorWorks provides plug-in
modules which enable SPG Inc's ColorWorks to create GIF animation image files.
GIF animation image files are widely used on the World Wide Web and other
places where small animations are required.
Designed to produce optimized GIF animation files while allowing for the full
use of ColorWorks' image editing environment, this product supports:
* Cycled animations (NETSCAPE2.0 extension to GIF)
* Partial area subimages (automatically set on selections/floated images)
* Individual cell delay settings
* Local Colormaps w/ option to skip (optimization)
* Duplicate color reduction (optimization)
* Animation and cell comment blocks
* Image-overlay cropping (optimization)
* Pixel transparency (option on selections/floated images)
