Rocky Mountain OS/2 Users Group (Next Meeting)
We meet the 1st THURSDAY of the month.. (With few exceptions..)
The next OS/2 Users Group meeting will take place on Thursday, December 5th,
at the IBM Building at 6:00, 3rd Floor. The IBM Building is located at 4700
S. Syracuse which is next to Garcia's, close to the intersection of I-25 and
Belleview, Denver, Colorado.
Next Meeting:
Java stuff! Robert might have the demo of the Corel Suite (WordPerfect,
Quattro Pro, etc.) that is written in JAVA! Wow. Neat. (My opinion,
anyway..) If he doesn't have the beta, we will do some general Java stuff
with applets and applications. And he will have a certificate for OS/2 for a
special price to the winner, and a copy of Glactic Civilizations to give away!
I also got sent a version of FAXWORKS PRO to give away, but the box got
mangled (squashed, really) in the mail, but it is still usable, just not
shrink-wrapped anymore!!
