Winnipeg OS/2 Special Interest Group
December Meeting
7:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 1996

Winnipeg Personal Computer User Group Clubhouse
337 C Pembina Hwy (Corner Pembina & Fleet)

Agenda:

Introduction, Announcements, News
The ever popular "Humour" of "Dr. Bob"
New! For OS/2 beginners: "Managing the Workplace Shell Desktop"
"Stump the Experts" Questions / Answers

Demos:

XFree86 for OS/2 -- run Unix Xwindows apps on OS/2!
True Spectra Photo>Graphics for OS/2
(If time permits) FaxWorks Pro Version 3.0

Anyone interested in doing a demo for future meetings, please let me know!
There is a ton of stuff in the "Merlin" "Application Sampler" that I know I
will never get around to looking at, as well as the odd promotional copy of
software donated to the SIG by vendors. (If it's the latter, if you demo it,
you get to keep it!)

Finally, a "Ho Ho HOS/2" bonus: I'll start a rumour that one of this month's
door prizes might be a shrink-wrapped copy of OS/2 Warp 4.0!

Hope to see you there!

Regards,
Karl Strieby
